About the event

Looking to shift to a more wholesome, self-sufficient lifestyle?  One of the most important skills to learn is how to preserve fruits and other high-acid foods using a water-bath.  Preserving your own food allows you control over what you eat, and it's economical.  You can capture delicious seasonal produce to enjoy all year long.  In this class you will learn the basics - what equipment you need, what foods can be water-bathed, trouble-shooting, how to store your items and more.  We will also cover other ways of preserving - salting and pickling in vinegar, as well as preserving in oil, alcohol and honey.  You will recieve my guide to preserving when you book into the class.  $100pp
