About the event

In Winter I love to preserve! My favourites are: Indian Lemon Pickle - spicy and tangy, great to have with curries; Verdurette - homemade vegetable stock (bouillon) preserved in salt, a great thing to have on-hand to add flavour to soups, stews and bean dishes; Root Vegetables in Brine - carrots, turnips and radishes all preserve well and can be eaten alone or along-side Asian, Mexican or Middle Eastern dishes; and Pickled Beets - sweet and sour and full of warming spices, I try to have this one around all year long.  You will also receive a cookbook with this class.  $100pp
